Caffè Vergnano 1882 is at the Rialto Market in Venice

Coffee, patisserie, books, art, design and jazz: meeting places, tea rooms and literary cafés are back, right in the heart of the city. We at Caffè Vergnano are planning a series of cultural events: concerts, presentations, exhibitions, tastings and meetings.
Caffè Vergnano 1882 looks onto the Grand Canal, and is housed inside one of the old fruit and vegetable warehouses in the Rialto area; the café has been beautifully restored and given a contemporary look.

The history of the city is evident in the walls, barrel ceilings and inside spaces, and is complemented by the modern furnishings and lights, designed to give a warm and intimate atmosphere.
The upper room, with windows overlooking the Grand Canal, is a really magical place: a quiet corner to escape the hustle and bustle of the city. You can sit and enjoy Vergnano coffee or hot chocolate, or one of our many varieties of tea and choice of pastries.
